The seed pipeline also looks pretty robust. But the typical heavy spenders in the startup world are still by and large holding back, as shown in our ranking of the top global venture investors in the first half of the year. 🤑 The most active VCs in this down market The ranks of top global startup investors are in flux. The number of deals led by the seven busiest venture investors in the first half of 2023 fell 78% from a year earlier. The names leading our rankings saw some major shuffling as well, with Tiger Global and SoftBank out, and more familiar VC names back in. 🤖 This investor is earmarking $1B for AI startups Investors’ appetite for AI shows no signs of abating.
