| Venture funding for cybersecurity dropped to just slightly more than $1.6 billion in the just completed second quarter, marking its lowest point since the last quarter of 2019. Because delivering on a concept tends to be exceedingly hard, the real estate and proptech sectors have a history of famous hits and misses. We look at what's going on. Startup funding in Asia dropped from more than $73 billion in the first half of 2022 to only $36.3 billion for H1 this year, Crunchbase data shows, and that's not all that's fallen.
